Want a thermal device that can do helmet mount, hand held scanner, dedicated scope, AND clip on duty?  Want it at an affordable price?  We have a thermal for you ;)

The new, revised version of the Sting IR is a completely different animal than the  original version first released over a year ago.  Now with it's improved firmware and added capabilities like a Clip On setting for day optics, the Sting IR is a little thermal packing a big punch in performance.   Clarity wise, the 640 12μm core sensor does not fail to impress.  The Sting's ultra compact size makes it barely noticeable when mounted infront of day optics such as a LPVO or ACOG.

It's compact size in dedicated scope mode with reticle/crosshairs allows the STING IR to be mounted in an offset 45 degree position.  This unique ability has been a favorite of the Goblin crew for allowing them to run an offset thermal scope AND traditional red dot optic at the same time.  The speed of transitions between optics is as simple as rolling the weapon over while still shouldered.   It's set up that has been brutally effective for us during milsim/force on force engagements.

The StingIR™ miniature observational thermal monocular is equipped with a 640×480 12μm
high-sensitivity infrared detector and a high-resolution OLED display. The StingIR is a full-featured unit, weighing less than 7 ounces/200 grams.

The monocular can be helmet mounted for hands-free
operations, or used as a standalone handheld device. The Sting IR can also be used as a stand-alone
thermal scope, or thermal clip-on, making it one of AGM's most versatile offerings.

Other features include a digital compass, inclinometer, up to 8x digital zoom and the ability to be
powered by two types of replaceable CR123 or 18650 batteries. The high-sensitivity built-in thermal
detector provides you with a clear view in any lighting condition.
